SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in the Hyde area of Tameside. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting a group of students with complex SEND requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, and other additional needs, and possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills. Your role will involve providing targeted support to ensure that students are fully engaged in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex SEND requirements in a Primary School setting
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
  • Provide behaviour management and communication strategies to support students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, and other additional needs
