Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Stores Person/Van Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the trade counter/warehouse, picking orders, putting stock away, and logging goods in and out. You will also be required to deliver products to customers from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the trade counter/warehouse, ensuring a high level of customer service and a well-organized stockroom.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, meeting customer deadlines.
  • Put away stock in a timely and organized manner, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Log goods in and out, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Deliver products to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the electrical wholesale industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, as well as work in a warehouse environment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems.
