Job Description

As our Lead Software Assurance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the development and assurance programs for safety-critical software are executed appropriately across the Rolls-Royce SMR project. This will involve working closely with various departments and suppliers to establish appropriate development processes, auditing the supply chain for compliance to standards, and selecting and executing confidence-building measures in line with regulatory expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in software-based systems, FPGA-based systems, or off-the-shelf programmable devices. You should also have experience of specifying and/or executing software or FPGA verification techniques, system-level testing, or hardware-in-the-loop verification techniques. Additionally, you'll need excellent communication and information management skills, as well as a degree-level qualification or equivalent knowledge by experience in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related subject.
