HARRIS HILL is a leading UK charity dedicated to decarbonising homes, heat, and energy. We are seeking a skilled Public Affairs Manager to join our Scottish team and help shape our advocacy engagement strategy.
Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for developing policy briefings, creating real change through campaigns and priority areas of focus within the Scottish Parliament. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project that forwards the renewables agenda and helps build a Net Zero future.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Good political connections in Scotland
- Experience developing policy briefings
- Advocacy engagement strategy experience
- An interest in influencing and informing this debate
We offer a competitive salary of £39,000 - £43,000 dependent upon experience, plus a range of benefits including 25 days' annual leave per annum, increasing to 28 days with 3 years' service and to 30 days with 5 years' service, Annual Health and Wellbeing subscription, 8% company Pension contribution, Enhanced maternity/paternity leave, and 5 x salary life assurance.
