Veterinary Nurse Position in Cambridgeshire Hospital

Village Vet Cambridge is seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our veterinary surgeons and other support staff to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent patient care, including medication administration, wound management, and monitoring patients in the hospital and at home.
- Assisting with surgical procedures, including preparing patients, maintaining asepsis, and providing post-operative care.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborating with our veterinary surgeons and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and nursing best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
- Current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
