The Role: Female Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to provide personalized care and support to a lady with a learning disability and Fragile X Syndrome. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life, fostering independence and enriching their daily experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Administering medication as prescribed.
- Accompanying her on outings and activities, including day trips and cultural events like concerts and pantomimes.
- Providing full support during swimming sessions, ensuring her safety and enjoyment in the water.
- Offering assistance with personal care tasks, promoting dignity and respect.
- Maintaining a structured daily routine to promote stability and well-being.
- Preparing nutritious meals to meet her dietary needs.
- Engaging in creative activities such as arts and crafts, baking, and music.
- Facilitating learning activities involving letters, numbers, and cognitive stimulation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
