About the Role

We are seeking a Building Services Coordinator to join our team at Build Recruitment. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of our site in Oldham, including maintenance, security, and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the maintenance schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks, prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular checks to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.
  • Implement site security protocols, balancing accessibility with security measures.
  • Liaise with contractors, including cleaning services, to deliver high-quality services and maintain a positive reputation.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and clients through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Report incidents that may impact service delivery and customer satisfaction, taking proactive steps to mitigate any negative effects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar facility management and/or caretaking role, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to prioritize tasks to achieve objectives, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Basic knowledge of DBS requirements and procedures.
Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £32,000 per annum
