Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Interaction Finance. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our office and team, while carrying out all day-to-day finance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce financial reports for senior management and directors using Sage 50 software.
  • Manage and maintain Purchase, Sales, and Nominal ledgers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Organize and maintain filing of all financial paperwork and documents.
  • Regularly enter income and expenditure data into Sage 50 software.
  • Process purchase invoices and manage employee expenses, petty cash, and cashbook.
  • Provide financial information to our outsourced payroll provider.
  • Liaise with senior management and external accountants to support the preparation of annual accounts and returns.
  • Manage company vehicles, including arranging MOT, servicing, tax, and insurance.
  • Supervise and support our administrator and Logistics Manager.
  • Assist with HR tasks, working with our external consultant to implement our HR strategy.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties to support the team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a small UK business environment is essential.
  • Team player with a flexible attitude and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Sage 50 software is essential.
