Skilled Maintenance Professional

A skilled maintenance professional is required by a leading global manufacturing company to join their team and contribute to the upkeep and refinement of their production equipment.
With significant investment planned for new machinery and production lines, the ideal candidate will play a key role in achieving world-class standards, maximising plant availability, and driving continuous improvements in reliability, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Salary up to £56,400, Overtime, Life Assurance, Group Personal Pension Plan
Key Responsibilities:
Providing efficient reactive maintenance support, documenting findings, and ensuring timely resolution.
Developing and adhering to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Predictive Maintenance routines, using KPIs to track progress and share results.
Identifying faults and implementing preventive measures to reduce machine downtime.Overseeing refurbishments, installations, improvements, and modifications to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
Conducting reliability routines, including PPMs, Electrical Standards, CBM routines, to enhance asset performance.
Sourcing and ordering parts/equipment as needed.
Collaborating with the Engineering Manager in identifying and estimating small electrical/mechanical projects to drive material usage, efficiency, uptime, and maintenance cost improvements.
Requirements include:Completion of a recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship
Experience in maintaining automated manufacturing equipment (FMCG, Food & Beveridge, Pharmaceutical, or similar)
A multi-skilled background with both electrical and mechanical experience
