About the Role

CBSbutler is a global centre of excellence in manufacture seeking an ergonomics specialist to join their team in Broughton. The successful candidate will assist with increased efficiency and minimise the negative impact of work packages on both humans and manufacturing systems.

Job Description
  • Influence product development by applying design for manufacture principles, driving strategic plans for ergonomic risk reduction interventions, and identifying work-related ergonomic risk factors at the workplace.
  • Apply national laws, regulations, and standards related to human factors and ergonomics, supporting human factor improvement projects with various stakeholders.
  • Define how to integrate user-centred design processes with HOF systemic and systematic analysis.
Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a degree (or higher) level in Ergonomics/Human Factors from an accredited CIEHF higher education body. Registered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) or equivalent is also required.

You should have physiology knowledge, including work analysis and knowledge on human cognitive behaviours. A good background in human factor sciences, work physiology, biomechanics, cognition, and experience in anticipating risk (e.g. new designs & processes) is essential.

You will have experience in identifying ergonomics risk factors in the workplace and knowledge of relevant Regulations and Standards relating to the workplace. Familiarity with all aspects of ergonomics, both existing and future developments, is also necessary.
