Junior Health and Safety Manager

A competitive salary of £35,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across our parking operations.

We are currently seeking a proactive Junior Health and Safety Manager to join our existing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety professional with a passion for making a difference in the parking industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing robust health and safety policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensuring appropriate control measures are in place.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to all levels of the organisation.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Investigating incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Carrying out regular site inspections and audits to ensure EHS policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
  • Ensuring working practices are safe and comply with Company policy and relevant legislation.
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining records of site inspection/audit findings and producing reports that identify non-compliances and suggest improvements.
  • Staying up-to-date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive legislation and any developments that may affect the parking/security/enforcement industry.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and safety role.
  • Relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH/IEMA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to health and safety management.
  • Able to design and deliver presentations, produce written reports, and analyse data.
