Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Teacher to support students with special educational needs in the Waltham Forest area.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in implementing strategies to enhance students' social, emotional, and academic development. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with diverse learning needs, we want to hear from you

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs. You will have a strong understanding of strategies and interventions for Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Global Learning Delay, SEMH, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and sensory impairments.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within education is paramount, and we require all applicants to provide an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Requirements
