Academic Support Worker

Job Overview:
CER Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream Primary school located in Peterlee.
The successful candidate will have prior experience working as a teaching assistant in a school setting or relevant experience working with children from healthcare or another sector, which they can transfer over to an education setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy being effective in supporting students with complex needs and have an appreciation of the positive attitude required to encourage independence in their students.
Key Responsibilities:
- To engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
- To challenge children when they display negative behaviour
- To work as a qualified level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant
Salary Details:
The estimated daily salary for this role is £92.50.
