Pertemps Lincoln is currently recruiting several Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to work on an ad-hoc ongoing basis for our client based in the UK who specialise in curtain-sided ferry trailer and container work and deliver to various UK ports.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

Shifts and Start Times:

  • Normally starting between 7:00am – 8:00am each day.

Compensation:

  • You will be paid £14.00 per hour.

Requirements:

  • 12 months minimum Class 1 experience.
  • Category C+E (HGV 1) on your licence.
  • Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
  • No DR10's No CD10's No IN10's – no more than 6 points.
