Job Summary

As a Metering Data Specialist with Gi Group Professionals, you will be responsible for collecting data from gas, electricity, and water meters for commercial and residential properties. You will update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your handheld device and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Retrieve data from domestic, commercial, and industrial sites for Water, Gas, and Electric Meters
Carry out visual inspections of associated metering equipment
Charge Point Surveys

What We Offer

50 per hour basic pay (weekly payment)
Weekly Hours 40 - 45 hours a week with flexible start and finish times Monday - Friday (occasionally Saturday) between 8am - 8pm

Overtime rates (£16 - £18) at manager's discretion

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence - Minimum 1 year, maximum 3 points, NO DR Offences
Clear DBS check (no unspent criminal convictions)
Credit Report check (No county court judgements, IVA, debt relief orders recorded for the last 6 years)

Training and Support

Training is 1 week and will be both classroom-based and field-based with an experienced meter reader. Should you require any support or assistance, please contact your local Gi Group office.
