Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Knaresborough

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £45 - £48k

Working Pattern: Hybrid with a minimum 3 days per week on site

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the internal Technical Support function, manage internal systems, and supervise the IT support team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for team management and technical responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise support, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and networks
  • Manage day-to-day support of central infrastructure, including servers, backups, storage, and networking
  • Proactively support business-critical systems and applications
  • Work closely with the Head of IT to deliver new projects and technologies
  • Oversee day-to-day IT support team and helpdesk activities
  • Support and contribute to the upgrade of business systems planned for 2024 and 2025

Essential Experience:

  • Experience working in a Service Management/Helpdesk environment
  • Windows and Windows Server, Active Directory, O365 Admin, SQL (desirable), Group Policy, and Office365 platforms
  • Solid networking experience, including Firewalls/Routers, WAN, and VPNs
  • VMWare
  • Unifi networks (setup/config)
  • Veeam Backup and Replication Software
