Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to take on new challenges and responsibilities in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop design solutions using AutoCAD / Inventor and direct engineers/designers in the production of complex design solutions.
  • Produce technical documents such as Basis of Design, Testing Strategies/Schedules, Method Statements etc.
  • Take ownership of design deliverables throughout the design, construction, installation, commissioning, operations and decommissioning phases of a project.
  • Manage CDM Risk Registers and support in the development of project safety case including HAZID and HAZOP attendance.
  • Lead a team of engineers/designers to deliver the engineering scope as required by the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of the theories, principles, practices and techniques applicable to mechanical design.
  • Detail design knowledge of mechanical mechanisms or bespoke equipment for Nuclear use.
  • Knowledge of relevant drawing standards BS8888, BS5070 and BS EN 61082.
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum and a range of benefits.
