We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, an International Tier 1 contractor, on a large infrastructure project in Northamptonshire.

This role will involve working on site, 4 days a week, and requires the individual to have experience working with Tier 1 contractors on large infrastructure projects/packages in excess of £30 million and NEC contracts.

• Deliver a positive commercial outcome for the project(s) with which you have been associated.
• Monitor cost against targets and contract progress against accepted programmes and work plans in conjunction with other team disciplines.
• Negotiate and progress the resolution of any disputes.
• Identify potential commercial risks and evaluate options for their control and management.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a degree or similar, enrolled in or seeking membership of a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS or similar), and a full driving license.

• Prepare and agree variation accounts – main contract and sub-contracts.
• Carry out periodical duties and one-off tasks in accordance with deadlines as directed by the senior Commercial team.
• Mentor junior team members and lead a small group of commercial staff.
