Nuclear Infrastructure Fabrication

AA Euro Group is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to contribute to the UK's first third-generation nuclear power plant at Hinkley Point C. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, ensuring compliance with established protocols and safety regulations.

The role involves:

  • Executing welding tasks to exacting standards.
  • Conducting equipment inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Maintaining adherence to quality control procedures.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve project objectives.

Key requirements include:

  • Proven experience in TIG, MMA, and Orbital TIG techniques.
  • Familiarity with stainless steel, carbon steel, and duplex steels.
  • A strong track record in large-scale projects within regulated sectors.
  • EN ISO 9606 certification (or equivalent).
  • CSCS card and right to work in the UK.

This long-term opportunity offers a competitive salary of £27.12 per hour, with overtime paid at £37.97 after 38 hours. Additional benefits include tax-free lodge/subsistence (£337.12 per week) and holiday/sick pay. Work bonuses may also be offered on milestone payments.
