Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Planning
    • Develop and implement curriculum plans in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum delivery.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and education.
    • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Child Development
    • Monitor and track children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
    • Develop and implement strategies to support children's learning and development.
  • Nursery Operations
    • Assist in the management of nursery operations, including staff supervision and performance management.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Care.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime.
