Sierra 57 Consult Ltd is seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Technician to join their team at an exciting time of growth for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tool change support and maintenance cover for key machines
• Ensure mould changes are carried out to a high standard in line with manufacturing specifications in a timely manner
• Working closely with the leadership team to improve reliability and productivity of machines and equipment
• Assisting and supporting in the carrying out of production improvement projects
• Carrying out tool changes to ensure maximum availability of machines
• Ensure facilities upkeep is maintained
• Overseeing the operation of plastic injection moulding machines in the absence of the plant supervisor
• Assist with the training of new operators

Requirements:

• Industry recognized injection moulding qualifications
• Experience carrying out full tool changes and setting up production machines
• Solid understanding of plastic injection moulding processes and automation
• Experience of working with and carrying out basic preventative maintenance on injection moulding machinery
