Senior Plant Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Senior Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to our clients' construction equipment, including excavators, dump trucks, diggers, and dozers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend site breakdowns across Cornwall and Devon, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on our clients' construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and extending equipment lifespan.
- Utilize laptop software systems to diagnose and fault-find on heavy plant machinery, providing accurate and timely solutions.
- Supervise engineers on site, ensuring the correct work is being carried out and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Liaise with the parts department to ensure your van is fully stocked with the necessary components and materials.
- Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a mobile plant engineer, mobile plant fitter, field service engineer, senior engineer, or similar role.
- Hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or similar.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing engineers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
