About the Role

This is a senior position reporting to the Head of Finance and Corporate Technology, focusing on delivering transformation projects within the People/Human Resource function and supporting the operation of its technology applications.

The core technology estate of the People function is built around Workday Enterprise Management Cloud, supplemented by best-in-breed point solutions providing specialist capabilities like Recruitment, Benefits, and Talent Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for both the hands-on operation of these products and ensuring their capabilities support the People function as it pursues greater automation and adapts to the ever-evolving regulatory environment.

  • Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot core People systems, including ERP, Recruitment, and Talent tools;
  • Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow;
  • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process;
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance;
    • Significant experience with configuring and optimizing Workday HCM Absence Management & Time Tracking, Core HCM, Talent Management, and Security Modules;
    • Experience with report writing within Workday HCM and Power BI;
    • Exposure to technology and a desire to work in technology-enabled Human Resource transformation programs and learn about how technology is transforming People functions of the future;

We support reasonable flexible working arrangements, including part-time and job sharing. The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
