Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cyber Risk Management: Identify and assess potential security risks, develop strategies to mitigate them, and implement controls to protect our systems and data.
  2. Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor our systems and networks for suspicious activity, respond to incidents, and work with our MSSP to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  3. Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans, investigate and contain security breaches, and provide timely reporting to senior management.
  4. Vulnerability Management: Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in our systems and applications, perform regular security checks, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  5. Identity and Access Management: Review and mature our IAM process, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices, and implementing robust access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
  6. Cloud Security: Perform cloud security operations related checks, develop and maintain operational security KRIs/KPIs, and maintain technical documentation of operational security controls.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a SOC environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with database and operating system security.
  • Experience with threat hunting, Defence in Depth techniques, and previous experience working in a technical information security role.
  • Security Certification (e.g. CISSP, SANS, CEH).
