We are looking for an Experimental Physicist to join our team at Smiths Detection. As an Experimental Physicist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing experimental equipment, planning and conducting original research, and critically appraising experimental data and theory.
You will work closely with the scientific community within Smiths Detection and collaborate with engineering functions as necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Physics and proven 'hands-on' experience in the lab. Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
