Job Title: Head of

Thurrock Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as Head of. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a multi-skilled and diverse team through a complex period of modernisation.

About the Role

As Head of, you will inspire and guide your team to deliver high-quality outcomes with stakeholders across the council. You will empower your team to take ownership of their work, providing them with the right resources and support to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-skilled and diverse team through a complex period of modernisation
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Manage risks, actions, issues, and decisions across the portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the council
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure effective decision-making
