Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our Michelin-starred culinary team at Sofitel London St James. As a key member of our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our discerning guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency and adhering to the highest standards of culinary excellence.
  • Ingredient Selection: Pay meticulous attention to every aspect of food preparation, from selecting the finest ingredients to plating the finished dishes with precision and artistry.
  • Culinary Team Development: Develop and nurture the culinary skills of our team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that every dish served meets our exacting standards for taste, appearance, and overall quality.
  • Menu Creation: Contribute to the creation of innovative and inspiring menus that showcase our culinary philosophy and seasonal ingredients.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, complying with all relevant health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant, preferably with Michelin-star experience.
  • Culinary Skills: Demonstrate a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and a commitment to producing exceptional dishes.
  • Workload Management: Effectively manage your workload and prioritise tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Teamwork: Work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
  • Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available for this position.
