Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join our team at Verto People. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading engineering supplier based in Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain existing key accounts, as well as generate new business opportunities.
  • Sell compressed air products and solutions, including compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration, and other associated compressed air equipment.
  • Work closely with the compressed air Service Department to ensure excellent after-sales service.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments to drive business growth.
  • Travel and work remotely, covering Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within engineering.
  • Technical engineering qualification, such as HNC, HND, BCAS DIPCAM, or Degree, would be advantageous.
  • Experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts in engineering, ideally compressed air, pumps, valves, plant equipment, pneumatics, medical gas, hydrogen, hydraulics, rotating equipment, MRO, machinery, power tools, industrial systems, or similar.
  • Full product training provided.
  • Office based near Corby daily when not travelling and for the initial training period.
  • Full clean driving license.
Package:
  • Competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience.
