Job Opportunity

Oxford Brookes Business School is seeking a talented and innovative individual to join our academic community as a Lecturer in Economics. This is a fixed-term position, covering a maternity leave from November 2024 to June 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching across various levels of study, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Develop and implement diverse teaching approaches to enhance student employability and engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities, publishing in reputable journals and presenting at conferences.

Requirements
  • PhD in Economics or a related field.
  • Proven teaching experience, with a focus on delivering student-centered learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A strong research profile, with a track record of publications and presentations.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic settings.
