Job Title: Deputy Care Home Manager


Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our residential service in the Leyland, Lancashire area. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to service users with complex needs, including those with severe learning disabilities, Autism, communication difficulties, challenging behaviour, and other complex needs.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and inspire a team to provide high-quality person-centred support and care
  • Undertake the deputy management of supporting people with complex needs
  • Deliver best practice in social care while continually developing the service
  • Use skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes is critical to service success

Requirements:



  • Practical knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Current knowledge of appropriate legislation
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Ability to develop great support skills within the staff team

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time


Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working through days


Salary: £14.10 per hour, equivalent to £27,495 per annum
