Job Title: Head Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Head Housekeeper to join our team at Hotel Du Vin. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our luxurious rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure that our rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including front office and maintenance, to ensure that all aspects of the hotel's operations are running smoothly.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of our rooms, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols, with the ability to develop and implement effective systems.
