Job Title: Head of Commercial

We are partnering with a forward-thinking business that operates across the IT space to find a talented individual to lead their commercial function.

This is a significant role that will involve leading teams across bids, commercial, compliance, and contracts. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in SAAS or IP and experience in complex negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and leading a new team to drive growth and success.
  • Providing commercial guidance to the deal leadership team.
  • Designing and implementing winning commercial strategies across departments.
  • Oversight of framework bids and proposals.
  • Identifying risks, liabilities, and commitments in contractual agreements.
  • Defining the correlation between contractual terms, pricing structure, and solution.
  • Drafting bespoke contracts independently of legal.

Requirements:

  • Strong career in the IT and Outsourcing sector.
  • Extensive customer-facing experience.
  • Successful track record of stakeholder management and problem-solving.
  • Proven track record of leading commercial/contracts/bids teams.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, intense culture.
  • Delivers clear, easy-to-understand messages.
