About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our well-established client in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing refurbishment and fit out projects, with experience working for a Main Contractor.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing 2-3 projects simultaneously, each valued between £500K and £2M. Key duties include:

  • Leading site teams and ensuring effective management of sub-contractors
  • Creating and managing project programmes
  • Attending client meetings and addressing associated issues
  • Developing Health and Safety plans
  • Motivating and inspiring team members
  • Liaising with stakeholders to maintain effective communication

You will also be responsible for following projects through all stages, from start to handover, and finalizing accounts. A high level of experience is required in managing multiple contracts and assisting with preconstruction, design, procurement, programming, and general duties.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, preferably in the Commercial, Retail, and Restaurant sectors
  • SMSTS/SSSTS certification

A range of salaries is quoted, depending on the level of experience, qualifications, and training. We welcome applications from qualified candidates who can meet the minimum requirements for the lowest salary band.
