The Role

As a Software Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a team of software engineers in a cross-functional environment, responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting our products in production. You will be responsible for leading the team in both engineering and delivery of solutions that solve problems for our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of software engineers in developing and deploying product solutions.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on software engineering and stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and cutting-edge technology.
  3. Plan, schedule, estimate, resource, and ensure consistent improvements in approach and performance of the team.
  4. Mentor, coach, and support your engineers with a passion that places people at the forefront of everything we do.

We seek an experienced professional with a strong background in software engineering and leadership. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Extensive experience leading technology teams.
  • Proven professional experience leading and managing a team of software engineers.
  • An in-depth software engineering background to quickly establish credibility with engineers.
  • Experience supporting product engineering teams through mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong knowledge and proven application of Agile approaches to drive product delivery.
  • Leadership skills with a proven ability to build and sustain good working relationships with staff, peers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills supporting logical, effective, and timely decision making.
  • Familiarity with project management and delivery processes and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
