Radiology Department Manager

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Radiology Department Manager. This is a rare opportunity to lead a highly specialized Nuclear Medicine service.
About the DepartmentThe Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Nuclear Medicine department is based at The Royal Preston Hospital and boasts 2 state-of-the-art GE Discovery 870DR scanners. The department provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic scans and treatments, supporting specialist services across Lancashire & South Cumbria & beyond.
Job Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of the assigned service within Radiology, including supervising the supporting team of staff.
- Provide effective leadership, support, and direction to the team, acting as a role model and patient advocate.
- Plan and allocate the workload for the hours of work associated with this service and monitor the budget for this area.
The ideal candidate will possess a BSc in Radiography or equivalent qualification, along with extensive experience in nuclear medicine and preferably CT. A management qualification or management experience is also required.

Salary: £53,755 to £60,504 per annum.
