We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Planning Administrator to join our team at Blakemore Recruitment. As an IFA Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Financial Planners in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new business submissions and track them to conclusion, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide day-to-day client management, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Administer Group Pension schemes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer Group Risk Schemes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing.
  • Liaise with clients, product providers, and other relevant third parties to ensure seamless communication.
  • Ensure back-office systems are up-to-date, including client and provider data, to maintain accurate records.
  • Issue Letters of Authority, chase policy information, build schedules, and update existing policies on the system.
  • Obtain illustrations and supporting literature, supporting the Financial Planners in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Stay conversant with and adhere to Company procedures and policies, as well as the requirements of the FCA Standards and Rules, and implement and maintain procedures as stipulated.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Good team working and liaison skills to effectively deal with tasks and provide support for other team members.
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and guidelines relating to financial services clients.
  • Willingness to continue developing knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) that are effective and meet business needs.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize own workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • IT skills commensurate with computer packages used in this industry and knowledge of Intelligent Office would be beneficial.
  • Accuracy of work and attention to detail.
