Conversions Technical Sales Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Conversions Technical Sales Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the bridge between innovative solutions and client requirements, you will play a pivotal role in turning inquiries into successful container conversion projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate leads and deal with Conversion enquiries via various channels.
  2. Build strong relationships with the Sales Support team and customers.
  3. Utilize and update CRM systems.
  4. Provide support for the Sales department regarding Conversion type enquiries.
  5. Ensure timely and professional response to enquiries.
  6. Maximize profitable sales and follow each enquiry to its conclusion.
  7. Prepare and send quotations.
  8. Manage and coordinate the Conversion pipeline ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
  9. Efficiently coordinate all assigned projects or their parts through to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  10. Share knowledge and provide support regarding basic conversion work to the Sales team.
  11. Perform other duties as requested, supporting other staff positions when needed.

Requirements:

  1. Degree or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.
  2. Engineering or B2B background is essential.
  3. Good knowledge of Health & Safety and ISO9001.
  4. Familiarity with managing a sales pipeline.
  5. Confident in all Microsoft packages.
  6. Previous experience using CRM systems.
  7. Sales, Business, and Marketing knowledge/skills.
