Glasgow Science Festival Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Glasgow Science Festival Coordinator will play a key role in delivering the strategic aims and ambitions of the festival and associated projects. This involves providing administrative support, managing events from start to finish, and collaborating with stakeholders, partners, and audiences to raise the festival's profile.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Festival Director in creating and delivering high-quality research-linked public and community engagement activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of festival strategies and initiatives.
- Manage event logistics, including venue coordination, catering, and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partners, and audiences to promote the festival and its activities.
- Assist in the creation and dissemination of marketing materials, including social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have a strong understanding of the festival's goals and objectives, as well as the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to challenges.
