Kennedy Pearce Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies to increase profitability and drive business growth.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to analyze and optimize commercial spend, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and support the organization in creating financial forecasts and business plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate and process monthly payroll for the UK and Ireland entities, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
- Review daily bookkeeping for the group, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
- Manage Sugar Tax Reporting in Ireland, ensuring timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the annual statutory audit and financial statement preparation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring efficient and effective management.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist the Senior Financial Controller with ad-hoc queries and projects, including annual budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
