Located in Hitchin, our Radcliffe Arms pub is a vibrant community hub offering a unique blend of artisan pizzas, comfort food, and craft beers. As our General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the overall management of the pub, ensuring high standards of food and drink quality, safety, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, profit, and team retention, while maintaining a fun and supportive work environment.
- Conduct regular stock control and waste management to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain high food quality standards, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure effective margin management and continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain a motivated team, identifying talent and ensuring succession planning.
- Regular employee appraisals and performance management to drive individual and team growth.
- A passionate and results-driven individual with a proven track record in hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with the local community and inspire your team.
