Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Professional

TXM Recruit is looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our fleet of buses and coaches.
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
About the Job:The Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Professional will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to meet or exceed minimum legal, regulatory, and company standards. This includes using our digital maintenance system Freeway to maximize efficiency and data benefits.
You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include preventative and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and major unit changes.
Key Skills:- Level 3 NVQ / City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in vehicle maintenance, ideally bus and coach or heavy engineering.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative while ensuring legal, regulatory, and company standards are always met.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements and best practice in relation to working in a garage.
