About the RoleAs a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy of our platform's user experience. This is a hybrid role based in our Soho Place office, where you will work closely with our Research Lab team.
We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Technical Product Manager to join our Platform User Experience (PUX) team. The PUX team is responsible for the developer experience at G-Research, which includes the workspace, observability, and application infrastructure platforms.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive user-centred design initiatives, ensuring our platforms are both functional and delightful to use. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and articulating a comprehensive vision and strategy for our platforms, aligned with overall product and business objectives
- Conducting user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, and utilising this data to map user journeys and inform product design and enhancements
- Defining and maintaining product roadmaps, prioritising features and improvements that enhance the user experience
- Collaborating with engineering and customer teams to ensure a cohesive and seamless user experience across all touchpoints
- Gathering and documenting detailed user experience requirements, including personas, user stories, and use cases
- Overseeing the implementation of UX enhancements, ensuring items are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), such as user satisfaction and engagement, and using analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Acting as the voice of the user within the company, championing user-centred design and ensuring that the user experience is a top priority
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management with a strong focus on user experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing UX projects from concept to launch
- Deep understanding of UX design principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex user needs into actionable product requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
