About the Role

MCG Healthcare is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to work in GP practices across Plymouth. As a qualified and skilled healthcare professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing services to patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing assessment, screening, and treatment services, as well as health education advice.
  • Providing nursing treatments to patients in collaboration with general practitioners or independently, in accordance with agreed protocols.
  • Conducting general and specific health screenings for practice patients, referring to general practitioners as necessary.
  • Offering advice on general healthcare and minor ailments, referring to GPs as needed.
  • Phlebotomy, dressings, infection control, and smears are also key aspects of this role.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is £25-£35 per hour, depending on experience.
