Job Title: Fund Accountant, Associate

About the Role:

The Fund Accountant, Associate will play a key role in supporting the Fund Controller team in the preparation of accurate and timely financial information. This includes working closely with various departments within Apollo, such as investment and portfolio management, valuation and pricing, legal, tax, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly and quarterly reports
  • Maintain and review full accounting records on Apollo systems, Investran
  • Prepare and review payment files
  • Manage interaction with Subscription Line lenders and maintain loan records
  • Review, allocate, and approve invoices and expenses
  • Respond to Investor queries
  • Maintain information in the investor and fund performance portal
  • Calculate management fees
  • Fund budgeting and expense analysis
  • Liaise with external auditors for statutory fund audits

Requirements:

  • Relevant fund accounting experience
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly skilled with Excel
  • Diligent and able to work well in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative
