Eden Brown is seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Essex and London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior services, with a focus on drylining, ceilings, and/or joinery. As a key member of the project team, you will play a crucial role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of our projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
* Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
* Evaluate and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and addressing any cost variations.
* Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to minimise financial exposure.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
* Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Membership or working towards membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
