About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a Princes Trust SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering education to children with SEN and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality education to children with SEN and SEMH
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • Work collaboratively with the existing team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the Princes Trust framework and practices
  • Provide support and guidance to students with challenging behavior/SEMH

Requirements

  • QTS Qualification
  • Experience of teaching PSHE at secondary level
  • Proven teaching and learning experience in a relevant context
  • Strong understanding of child safeguarding
  • Ability to plan and execute interesting and engaging lessons for a range of students
