Project Development Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering group, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support the development and implementation of new projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the provision of CAD and documentation support for NPI and CPI initiatives
  • Drive CPI activities for existing product platforms and bespoke customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain ERP systems for NPI and CPI
  • Deliver technical assistance to internal and external customers
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Maintain Company Health & Safety standards and good housekeeping practices
  • Support the creation of Technical Product Support Information
  • Respond to technical inquiries from customers and colleagues
  • Evaluate designs through prototype and production testing
  • Collaborate on implementing VAVE activities
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12-18 months' experience in an engineering design or manufacturing support role
  • Level 3 HNC/Level 5 HND qualification in Design/Mechanical Engineering or related field

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
