Senior Commercial Insurance Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our successful company as a Partner, responsible for driving the commercial side of the business. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our expanding local business.
The Role:As a Partner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a busy workload, co-ordinating sales administrative and customer service activity, and getting involved in special campaigns and projects. You will inspire trust in those around you and relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer-focused ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a busy workload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Co-ordinate sales administrative and customer service activity, ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase sales.
- Lead and motivate a sales team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement business plans, ensuring a focus on sales and service excellence.
- Strong experience in Commercial insurance, with a proven track record of success in a sales environment.
- Experience in HNW insurance beneficial.
- Experience of developing, leading and motivating a sales team.
- Proven success of meeting performance targets in a sales environment.
- Experience of working to business plans to increase sales and service focus.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Effective coaching skills.
- Commercially minded and proven industry awareness.
- Excellent time management and personal organisation.
- Commercial experience essential in a broking or sales management role.
- ACII/DIP/CII desirable.
- Will be encouraged to complete ACII if not already qualified.
