We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Associate to join our team at Octavius Finance. As a Private Equity Associate, you will play a key role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence.
- Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate internally, and with external advisors to execute transactions and manage portfolio investments effectively.
- ~3+ Years M&A experience, at a bulge-bracket or reputable boutique investment bank (Analyst 3 / Associate 1 grade preferred). Consulting backgrounds will also be considered.
- You MUST have relevant transaction experience within either Healthcare, Industrials, or Business Services.
- You will have experience working with transactions ranging from €150mn - €1bn.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas effectively.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for the healthcare sector and a desire to contribute to the success of innovative healthcare companies.
