We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Innovation and Educational Technology Strategist to lead our digital pedagogy approaches within Teaching, Learning and Assessment across the college group.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position that requires someone with extensive experience in using digital technology and AI to enhance and deliver teaching. You will be responsible for promoting digital innovation and evaluating EdTech to advise on the best approaches for the situation/curriculum area.
You will lead on supporting staff to develop their digital skills and confidence, manage innovation projects and pilots, and advise on new technologies to utilize. With strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps and services, Educational Technology, and digital pedagogy, you will be aware of emerging technologies and trends within the Educational Sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead digital pedagogy approaches within Teaching, Learning and Assessment
- Evaluate EdTech and advise on the best approaches for the situation/curriculum area
- Support staff to develop their digital skills and confidence
- Manage innovation projects and pilots
- Advise on new technologies to utilize
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree (or equivalent) and teaching qualification with teaching experience and evidence of outstanding practice
- Extensive experience in using digital technology and AI to enhance and deliver teaching
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps and services, Educational Technology, and digital pedagogy
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to think, pivot, and deliver quickly when required
We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a generous benefits package including annual leave, wellbeing leave, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
